Engro Powergen Thar Limited is proud to be recognized at the Asian Power Awards as the Coal Power Project of the year. The award was received by Faisal Shafiq – GM Commercial EPTL – in a graceful ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

Asian Power Awards is organized by Asian Power magazine – part of the international Charlton Media group. The awards ceremony which is being held every year for the past 15 years is considered as the Oscars of the power industry. The awards program recognizes the most innovative and outstanding initiatives in the Asian power sector on parameters that include operational & engineering excellence, inclusive business model, & socio-economic potential. EPTL was one of the 26 winners, selected out of 200 nominations across Asia.
