Mr. Syed Hassan Naqvi is a senior civil servant of BS-20, presently posted as Chairman, Planning & Development Board, Government of Sindh. He is responsible for formulating Annual Development Plan of the Province. He also maintain liaison with the National Planning Agencies for formulation and implementation of public policies in the development sector in the Province of Sindh. Prior to this assignment he was posted as Secretary, Finance Department, Government of Sindh. He was responsible for overall supervision of financial activities of the Government of Sindh.

He has over 24 years of experience in the public sector, he had held key positions in the following government sectors: Secretary (GA) in the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department, Secretary of the Public Health Engineering Department, and Secretary of Finance Department, Special Secretary in Finance Department. He had also worked on the various important and lead positions. Besides he has a rich experience of serving in the Finance, Board of Revenue Departments of Government of Sindh and City District Government, Karachi etc. in senior positions.

Mr. Hassan Naqvi holds a Bachelors of Engineering degree from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi. He had expertise Public Sector Expenditure Management, Resource Mobilization, Project Management and Team Leadership, Public Private Partnership, Fund Management etc.
