Highly skilled in Financial Controlling, Risk Management, Strategy & Innovation, Corporate Reporting, Stakeholder Relationship Management, Leadership and Management she is responsible for providing the necessary oversight and governance controls to Engro Energy Limited and its subsidiaries.

Ekta is a certified Chartered Accountant by profession and has worked in various blue-chip organizations in Pakistan and beyond. She started off her career at the prestigious Ernst & Young in the Audit function from where she moved to Phillip Morris International and served in the organization for over a decade with stints both nationally and internationally. She is an ardent supporter of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and champions in the cause across the Engro Energy vertical.
