Amina Wahid is the Vice President of Human Resources, Marcom, and Administration at Engro Energy Limited. She possesses over 19 years of extensive experience in various areas of human resources, including HR Strategy, Transformation, Organization Design, Performance Management, and Rewards. Ms. Wahid oversees the strategic direction and execution of the company's human resources, marketing and communications, and administrative functions. She is responsible for aligning the HR strategy with Engro's business objectives, driving organizational transformation, and fostering a high-performance work culture.
Prior to joining Engro, Ms. Wahid spent more than 15 years at Telenor Pakistan, a leading telecommunications company. During her tenure, she held several key positions, including Manager of Total Rewards and Policy, Director of HR Transformation & Strategy, and Director of HR Business Partner. In these roles, she was instrumental in developing and implementing HR best practices to support the company's growth and employee engagement.
Ms. Wahid's international experience includes working for Telenor Group in Norway as a Senior Advisor for Group Remuneration. In this role, she consulted on remuneration and job architecture projects with Telenor Business Units across 12 countries in Asia and Europe. Additionally, she was instrumental in setting up and managing a virtual office for Telenor ASA Group People function in Pakistan while serving as the Director of Group People Support.
